What can we do as an community? We can try to make goals to stop eating fast food and snacks often and try to eat a healthy diet. This can then lead to start to shopping for organic food instead of processed foods. For people living in Food Deserts, we can suggest a Council Member to take down some fast food chains in neighborhoods and to add grocery stores nearby for families who don't have a vehicle to access fresh produce. If this can happen, this can cause less rates of obesity and more nutritious diets. Robyn O'Brien, an industry expert, recommend to not purchase a lot of food that were toxic. The reason for that was because her child one day ate eggs for breakfast. Due to toxins in it, her son became very sick. Ever since, she has been advising people to get rid of toxins from their diet. This story surprised our group because we thought it was very scary. Robyn O' Brien has taught us that it is best to avoid toxic foods from entering your body.
